Waterfall Info: Bowmans Island Falls is a wet-weather waterfall located on a small unnamed creek feeding into the Chattahoochee River from the east, a half-mile below Buford Dam. The waterfall lies just northeast of a large island along the Chattahoochee known as Bowmans Island.

Access Info: To access Bowmans Island Falls, follow an unmarked spur trail southward from the Laurel Ridge Trail, heading downstream parallel to the Chattahoochee River. Once you reach the unnamed creek home to the waterfall, follow the creek upstream for 0.25 mile to Bowmans Island Falls. This is an easy low-level bushwhack with traces of a path here and there.
