Alberta Falls is an extraordinarily picturesque, stairstepping 40-foot waterfall found along Canada Creek near Suches. An outstanding swimming hole lies at the base of the falls. It's the third of four waterfalls located along Canada Creek below Woody Lake. Alberta Falls is sometimes called Upper Canada Creek Falls, since it lies nearly two miles upstream from the better-known Canada Creek Falls. However, this moniker as a misnomer, because another significant waterfall lies upstream from Alberta Falls.

Hikers can reach Alberta Falls by following an unmarked trail for 0.85 mile upstream along Canada Creek from the end of Canada Creek Road (FR 435).

October 2024 Update: The route formerly forded Canada Creek twice, but a new path bypassing both crossings has appeared. Hikers may now be able to reach Alberta Falls with dry feet, if rock hopping Wildhog Creek is possible.
