Allen Creek Falls is the first and best known of three waterfalls on Allen Creek, which cuts a significant gorge through the middle of Pigeon Mountain. The waterfall drops about 15 feet over a series of stairstep ledges into a broad pool. Allen Creek Falls lies along a short spur trail after a 1.2-mile hike on the Atwood Trail from Rocky Lane. The 6.5-mile Hood Loop Trail from South Brow Road offers an alternative longer hiking access.
