GPS Location:

40 feet

Bad Branch Falls is a beautiful 40-foot waterfall hidden away near Seed Lake. Although the trail to the waterfall is unmarked, it is a remarkably easy 0.2-mile hike from Crow Creek Road. The waterfall lies on Bad Branch, which flows into the lake downstream from the road. Bad Branch Falls is at the site of a former stone quarry. If you examine the rocks around the waterfall, you might even spot a few drill holes. The surrounding amphitheater of lush, mossy ledges adds more appeal to the scene. Bad Branch Falls is often paired with Crow Creek Falls, another hidden yet easy waterfall located a few minutes farther up the road.
