Big Rock Falls

Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park

Meriwether County
Warm Springs, GA

GPS Location:

32.86863, -84.69853

Waterfall Height:

6 feet

Big Rock Falls is the second of three small waterfalls found along Wolfden Branch in Central Georgia's F. D. Roosevelt State Park. About 6 feet high, Big Rock Falls is really just a cascade but is arguably seen as a waterfall in this region of the state, because significant waterfalls are sparse here. It lies directly along the Wolfden Loop (Pine Mountain Trail), at 1.4 miles from the WJSP-TV Tower trailhead along Hwy 27-Alt. Big Rock Falls is located about 0.1 mile below Csonka Falls and is passed enroute to Cascade Falls.
