Brasstown Peak Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Towns County
Hiawassee, GA

GPS Location:

34.85965, -83.79584

Waterfall Height:

40 feet

Located on the southeastern slopes of Brasstown Bald, the first tributary of Soapstone Creek features a series of small waterfalls and sliding cascades. The largest drop is about 40 feet high, though the full run drops more than 120 feet. Collectively known as Brasstown Peak Falls, these waterfalls entail a very difficult, overgrorn bushwhack and are only for hardcore waterfallers.
