Caledonia Cascade

Rabun County
Tallulah Falls, GA
GPS Location:
34.73820, -83.38880
Waterfall Height:
500 feet
A wet-weather spilling down the sides of Tallulah Gorge, Caledonia Cascade is often cited as the second tallest waterfall in Georgia. In total, this small unnamed creek drops about 500 feet before tumbling into the Tallulah River. However, it does so in multiple smaller drops. The bottom tier is only 130 feet high and can be seen along the Gorge Floor Trail. Overlooks #9 and #10 along the South Rim Trail also afford good birds-eye views of the waterfall. This would be an impressive view after heavy rain.
