Ramah Darom Falls
Camp Ramah Darom
Rabun County
Clayton, GA
GPS Location:
PRIVATE
Waterfall Height:
100 feet
A half-mile southwest of Kilby Mill Falls, an unnamed tributary of Persimmon Creek forms a spectacular 100-foot waterfall. The waterfall lies on the the property of Camp Ramah Darom, a summer camp and retreat center focused on Jewish living and learning. Hence, I have been referring to this waterfall as Ramah Darom Falls unless other information becomes available. The camp entrance is gated, and only camp visitors and guests may visit the waterfall. Ramah Darom Falls is strictly off-limits to the public.
To learn about more waterfalls in the Clayton area, see chapter 9 in Mark Ozboyd's "Waterfalls of Georgia" guidebook.
