Cane Creek Falls

Glisson Camp and Retreat Center

Lumpkin County
Dahlonega, GA

GPS Location:

34.55590, -84.00890

Waterfall Height:

30 feet

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Dahlonega area, Cane Creek Falls lies minutes outside of town in the Cane Creek valley on the property of Glisson Camp and Retreat Center. A single block-type drop about 30 feet high, Cane Creek Falls is picture-perfect. Picturesque sandbars punctuate the pool and shallow stream below the falls, although swimming is prohibited by the retreat.

Cane Creek Falls is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during Camp Glisson's operating hours. The waterfall is totally closed to the public when camp is in session from May 10 to August 1, or when registered guests on site. The walk down to Cane Creek Falls is very short and easy, perfect for a family trip. As you visit the falls, please respect this private property. We are very fortunate that Camp Glisson has allowed public access to their grounds.
