Charlie Branch Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Stephens County
Toccoa, GA

GPS Location:

34.64038, -83.34798

Waterfall Height:

15 feet

Charlie Branch is a tributary of Little Toccoa Creek below Black Mountain Road (FR 139). It is home to a small 15-foot free-falling waterfall with a nice grotto behind it. There are a couple of other drops on Charlie Branch above and below this one, but they are heavily impacted by storm damage. Reaching the area requires a tough bushwhack, so this one is for hardcore waterfallers only.

To learn about more waterfalls in the Toccoa area, see chapter 8 in Mark Ozboyd's "Waterfalls of Georgia" guidebook.
