Georgia's Trusted Local Source for Waterfall Explorations Since 2018

Chestnut Lead Falls

Cohutta Wilderness

Fannin County
Chatsworth, GA

GPS Location:

34.86054, -84.60574

Waterfall Height:

10 feet

The Chestnut Lead Trail passes a series of cascades and small waterfalls along Chestnut Creek in the Cohutta Wilderness, the tallest and most notable one being 10 feet high. While I would not consider Chestnut Lead Falls a particularly remarkable waterfall, the creekside trail is a scenic walk - and the nearby Conasauga River Trail beckons even more views of a pristine mountain creek.
