Chatsworth, GA
GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:
35 feet
Cooper Falls is named in honor of Joseph Cooper, a local nature photographer and former U.S. Forest Service ranger who has spent countless days roaming the Cohutta Wilderness and was part of the group who first documented this waterfall. A 35-foot waterfall in the extremely remote upper reaches of Rough Creek, Cooper Falls can be reached via a long and difficult bushwhack along an abandoned railroad bed that follows Rough Creek upstream from the Hickory Creek Trail.
