Csonka Falls

Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park

Meriwether County
Warm Springs, GA

GPS Location:

32.86672, -84.69958

Waterfall Height:

4 feet

Csonka Falls is the first of three small waterfalls found along Wolfden Branch in Central Georgia's F. D. Roosevelt State Park. About 4 feet high, Csonka Falls is really just a cascade but is arguably seen as a waterfall in this region of the state, because significant waterfalls are sparse here. This scenic cascade empties into a nice pool at its base. It lies directly along the Wolfden Loop (Pine Mountain Trail), at 1.3 miles from the WJSP-TV Tower trailhead along Hwy 27-Alt, enroute to the larger Cascade Falls.
