Located within the city limits of the quaint mountain town of Young Harris, Cupid Falls is a scenic roadside waterfall about 15 feet in height. Perfect for families and elderly visitors who are unable to hike far, Cupid Falls lies along Thomas Town Road at the Corn Creek Preserve. The waterfall can be glimpsed from the road, and a brief walk through the grass will bring you to its base. The shallow wading pool at the base of Cupid Falls is ideal for kids to play around in.
A pond was formerly located above Cupid Falls, serving the old Corn Creek Mill. A historic stone wall standing atop the waterfall is the sole relic of the old mill dam. Notably, the widowed mother of Zell Miller, former Governor of Georgia, built their family home from stones gathered in the creek at Cupid Falls.
