GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:
20 feet
Davis Creek Headwaters Falls is the fourth waterfall on Davis Creek. Located high up in the headwaters well above Upper Davis Creek Falls, this small waterfall is about 20 feet high and surrounded by dense rhododendron. The pictured part is the largest drop of the falls, but it's actually a lengthy series of small falls and cascades. It can be accessed via a series of old logging roads that follows Davis Creek, with more difficult off-trail bushwhacking necessary closer to the falls.
To learn about more waterfalls in the Helen area, see chapter 6 in Mark Ozboyd's "Waterfalls of Georgia" guidebook.
