Waterfall 4 on Dicks Creek

Blood Mountain Wilderness

Lumpkin County
Dahlonega, GA

GPS Location:

34.71965, -83.96014

Waterfall Height:

50 feet

The uppermost in a series of four waterfalls on Dicks Creek, this set of small cascading waterfalls lies upstream from a crossing along an unofficial trail connecting the end of Dicks Creek Road to Jarrard Gap. It lies significantly upstream from Dicks Creek's lower two roadside waterfalls, Dicks Creek Falls and Upper Dicks Creek Falls.

The total drop of the waterfall is about 50 feet, but it occurs in three distinct tiers located on top of one another. The upper tier is the most scenic, about 20 feet high. The lower and middle tiers are more cluttered and about 15 feet high each. Accessing the falls entails a short bushwhack.
