Double Branch Falls is a steep slide waterfall, about 30 feet in height, located along an unofficial connector trail from Corbin Creek Road (FR 698) to the Appalachian Trail at Steeltrap Gap. The waterfall lies about 0.2 mile from the road, and the trail affords a partial view through the rhododendron. Greg Ford has referenced this waterfall as Stone Face Falls in Facebook posts due to a face-like formation visible in the rock the waterfall slides over.
