Estatoah Falls is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Georgia. Located on Mud Creek between Dillard and Sky Valley, this 150-behemoth tumbles off a towering bluff in one single tier with a spectacular show of power. There is simply no equivalent to this waterfall anywhere else in Georgia. Estatoah Falls lies on private property downstream from Mud Creek Falls and Upper Estatoah Falls. The waterfall lies only 0.1 mile from the Dillard Overlook on Hwy 246 and can be spotted high up on the mountainside from a couple of points along this highway.
One way people have gained access to the base of Estatoah Falls is through a small, private Hipcamp camping site located downstream from the falls along Mud Creek. A steep 0.2-mile trail leads to the falls from the campsite, and guests are granted access. Keep in mind that the area is gated, and reservations must be made in advance. The campsite is called "Secluded Waterfall Haven in Dillard" on the Hipcamp.com website.
