At the western edge of the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, Pole Bridge Creek forms several small but scenic cascades collectively known as Evans Mill Shoals, flowing over broad granite bedrock. The shoals are located along the preserve's aptly-named Cascade Trail. They are accessed by an easy 0.1-mile walk from the trailhead along Evans Mill Road.
