Fall Branch Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Gilmer County
Blue Ridge, GA

GPS Location:

34.78628, -84.30567

Waterfall Height:

50 feet

Perhaps the most popular waterfall in the Blue Ridge area, Fall Branch Falls is a perfect choice for families, tourists, elderly folks, and beginner hikers. This double-tier 50-foot waterfall lies along the Benton MacKaye Trail north of Rock Creek Road. A half-mile hike with mild elevation gain leads to a wooden observation deck at the falls. Fall Branch Falls is especially scenic in wet weather, when water flows over a broader segment of the slanted rock slabs.
