Freeman's Mill Falls is the name for a primarily manmade waterfall on the Alcovy River in Lawrenceville, dropping 10 feet over an old stone dam. Despite the drop's unnatural origins, it is a scenic spot and is often called a waterfall. The drop lies just upstream from the Freeman's Mill, a restored historic grist mill with public tours available. Freeman's Mill Falls can be reached with a very brief, easy walk from the parking area at Freeman's Mill Park along Alcovy Road.
