A scenic 25-foot waterfall lies on Curtis Creek a couple hundred feet above the top of Anna Ruby Falls. It cannot be accessed from the bottom of Anna Ruby Falls, where leaving the established walkways and boardwalks is prohibited. There exists a series of old logging roads from Mule Branch Road that lead close to the falls, but you would still need to bushwhack at the end. Please stay away from the extremely dangerous brink of 150-foot Anna Ruby Falls. Greg Ford documented this upper waterfall with a Friends Falls name reference, but I am unsure of the origin of this name.
