Funnel Falls is the first in a beautiful pair of adjacent waterfalls along the lower reaches of Blood Mountain Creek, located about 0.2 mile from the creek's confluence with Dicks Creek. This 20-foot waterfall drops through a tight notch into a deep swimming hole surrounded by imposing cliffs. It's sometimes called Lower Blood Mountain Creek Falls, as well as Waterfall No. 1 on Blood Mountain Creek. A second waterfall, Boulder Falls, lies about 200 feet upstream. Funnel Falls can be accessed via a scramble path from Dicks Creek Road.
