Located on the sprawling private property of the Glass Apple Farm estate, Glass Apple Falls is a spectacular 65-foot waterfall located just south of the town of Alto. The waterfall lies on a large tributary of Mountain Creek and drops over a large, impressive rock face. I am told there are two other waterfalls on the property, but I don't have access to pictures of them. To the best of my knowledge, the 1,100-acre Glass Apple Farm estate is strictly off limits to the public. This is essentially an entire private mountain! Perhaps one day, the property's many luxurious amenities could be transformed into a retreat admitting special guests in the future.
