Grassy Ridge Falls is a scenic wet-weather waterfall located on the eastern slopes of Grassy Ridge, which is Georgia's eighth-highest mountain. This 30-foot waterfall lies in the headwaters of a stream known as Negro Branch. I have noticed that Negro Branch has recently become an unlabeled stream on Google Maps, but USGS topographic maps continue to label it as Negro Branch, so I will continue to refer to it as such here for recordkeeping purposes. Grassy Ridge Falls lies just below an unofficial trail climbing Grassy Ridge from Patterson Gap, and the waterfall can be heard from the trail. It is a short off-trail scramble down to the bottom.
