Trenton, GA
GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:
100 feet
Hemlock Falls is the second of three major waterfalls in the Daniel Creek arm of Cloudland Canyon, which forms a deep gorge cutting into the west side of Lookout Mountain. The waterfall makes a 100-foot free-falling tumble into semicircular rock amphitheater, and an enormous house-sized boulder stands at the base. Hiking options to Hemlock Falls include a shorter but steeper approach from the Cloudland Canyon Interpretive Center atop the canyon rim, or a longer but more gradual approach from the canyon mouth via the Sitton Gulch Trail.
