Hemlock Falls is the second waterfall found along Overflow Creek south of the GA-NC state line. Overflow Creek is one of the three major creeks feeding into the Three Forks of the West Fork Chattooga River farther downstream. A double-tier drop of about 20 feet, Hemlock Falls is located about 0.4 mile below Put-in Falls. This waterfall has mainly been seen by whitewater kayakers running the whole creek from Put-In Falls down to Highway 28. There is no trail leading to Hemlock Falls, but it can be accessed with an off-trail creekwalk down from the end of FR 86B at Put-In Falls.
