Just northeast of White County High School, Cathey Creek tumbles through a deep gorge on private property with a significant waterfall. The main waterfall is about 40 feet high, with smaller drops upstream. The waterfall is known as High School Falls because it has been frequented by White County High School students in the past. However, the waterfall is strictly off limits to the public nowadays.
