Hightower Falls is a small 12-foot waterfall on Shoal Branch, a tributary of Hightower Creek east of Hiawassee. A wooden sign depicts the waterfall's name. Although Hightower Falls is a short scramble down from Albert Road, it is not accessible to the public. This is private property and it lies behind a gate, possibly part of a future gated neighborhood.
