Chattahoochee National Forest
Rabun County

GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:
25 feet
Hoojah Branch is a steep tributary dropping into the Darnell Creek gorge below Thomas Creek. Along the way, it forms a 25-foot waterfall known as Hoojah Branch Falls, just after flowing under Darnell Creek Road (FR 150). Although this scenic waterfall is close to the road, it requires a very tough bushwhack through dense vegetation to access. The Darnell Creek Trail crosses Hoojah Branch below the falls, but the bushwhack is no easier from that direction.
