Kudzu Falls
Chattahoochee National Forest
Rabun County
Clayton, GA
GPS Location:
34.86235, -83.51877
Waterfall Height:
35 feet
Kudzu Falls is a 35-foot cascading waterfall on Jones Branch, located practically roadside along Highway 76 near Lake Burton. True to its name, the waterfall lies below an enormous patch of thick kudzu along the road. There is an old, abandoned loop segment of Old Hwy 76 here, which affords a view of Kudzu Falls from a powerline cut just off the main road. This view isn't much to look at in drier weather. Amazingly, thousands of people drive right by along Highway 76 and have no idea this little waterfall view is here.
