5 feet

Although not truly a waterfall, the Laurel Creek Rapids are a scenic water feature found at a signed spur trail along the Laurel Creek Trail at Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. Lush stairstepping cascades like this, enshrouded by mountain laurel, are uncommon in the Atlanta area. Additionally, a second series of picturesque rapids is found along Stephenson Creek where it meets Laurel Creek, along the preserve's paved PATH Trail.
