25 feet
Laurel Mountain Falls is the first of three waterfalls found along Patterson Creek west of Dillard. This is a long, cascading run with multiple tiers of small drops, many of which are hard to attain close-up views of. A short unofficial trail from Patterson Gap Road drops down to partial views of Laurel Mountain Falls, but it doesn't really access the true base of the waterfall. The largest drop is a slide of about 25 feet. A scramble path leads to a nice view at the top of this drop. I wouldn't take the effort to bushwhack to its base.
