20 feet

Little Falling Creek Falls is a rare 20-foot waterfall found along Central Georgia's Fall Line where it passes through the Piedmont NWR. Although essentially located in the middle of nowhere, the waterfall lies just a few hundred feet below the Barron Russell Road bridge over Little Falling Creek. It's surrounded by expansive gneiss bedrock and is accessed by an easy walking path.

The main drop of Little Falling Creek Falls is about 8 feet high and drops into a large pool. Just downstream, the creek forms a gradual cascading slide over the lower part of the bedrock slab before re-entering the woods. Additional cascades are found upstream on Little Falling Creek at the other side of the bridge. In my opinion, Little Falling Creek Falls is highly underrated and is one of Central Georgia's most beautiful public waterfalls. It lies in a region of the state with very few significant waterfalls.
