Little Leatherwood Creek Falls

Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area

Stephens County
Toccoa, GA

GPS Location:

34.47711, -83.43880

Waterfall Height:

20 feet

The headwaters of Little Leatherwood Creek in the Lake Russell WMA near Wells Mountain are home to this 20-foot free-falling waterfall. It rarely has much water in it but would be picturesque after a heavy rain. Little Leatherwood Creek Falls can be reached via a short low-level bushwhack from an old logging road to the north, which branches off Post Oak Corner Road (FR 193).
