Little Thunder Falls

Warwoman Wildlife Management Area

Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

34.94714, -83.27563

Waterfall Height:

15 feet

Located along the upper reaches of Sarahs Creek, Little Thunder Falls is a beautiful 15-foot waterfall squeezed into a tight, mossy canyon. This is the uppermost of six significant waterfalls along Sarahs Creek; it lies upstream from Sarahs Creek Campground. Its name comes from the waterfall's appearance being akin to that of Big Thunder Falls, a larger slot canyon waterfall also found nearby here in Rabun County. Little Thunder Falls lies very close to Sarahs Creek Road (FR 156) and can be reached with a short off-trail scramble down the hill from the road.
