Low Shoals Falls

Paulding Forest WMA

Paulding County
Dallas, GA

GPS Location:

33.95302, -84.88716

Waterfall Height:

20 feet

About 20 feet high, Low Shoals Falls is a wet-weather waterfall located a few miles south of High Shoals Falls, at the edge of Paulding Forest WMA. It lies on a small unnamed creek and isn't much to write home about, except after heavy rain. Although there is no trail to the falls, it's only about 400 feet from Johnny Monk Road. It can be reached via a quick bushwhack through an open pine forest from the road. Avoid following the creek downstream from the falls, as it shortly enters private property.
