Georgia's Trusted Local Source for Waterfall Explorations Since 2018

Lower Abram Mountain Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Habersham County
Toccoa, GA

GPS Location:

34.68333, -83.35692

Waterfall Height:

25 feet

At 0.4 mile from Yonah Dam Road, Panther Creek Road passes over an unnamed Panther Creek tributary tumbling steeply down the slopes of Abram Mountain to the north. About 0.4 mile from the road, this creek tumbles over a series of small, picturesque waterfalls that I've collectively referenced as Lower Abram Mountain Falls. The total height is about 25 feet. Another, larger waterfall lies higher up this creek. There is no trail up this valley, so access entails a challenging, rugged bushwhack.
