Rock Room Falls is the first of several waterfalls located above Lower DeSoto Falls on the same tributary of Frogtown Creek. Although just 10 feet high, this scenic drop features a spacious recess in the cliff behind the waterfall. The waterfalls above Lower DeSoto Falls lie strictly off-trail in very steep, rugged terrain. Leaving the official trail in this vicinity is highly discouraged by the Forest Service, as injuries have occurred from climbing along the waterfalls. Accessing Rock Room Falls is only for nimble cross-country hikers with strong off-trail scrambling experience.
