Named Euphoria Falls by Greg Ford, this 80-foot waterfall is the second of several waterfalls marked on the USGS topographic map above Lower DeSoto Falls, on the same tributary of Frogtown Creek. Euphoria Falls is over twice taller than Lower DeSoto Falls, but there is no trail of any sort to it. The waterfalls above Lower DeSoto Falls lie in very steep, rugged terrain. Leaving the official trail in this vicinity is highly discouraged by the Forest Service, as injuries have occurred from climbing along the waterfalls. Accessing Euphoria Falls is only for nimble cross-country hikers with strong off-trail scrambling experience.
