Mossy Creek is a major tributary of the Chattahoochee River between Clermont and Cornelia. Lower Mossy Creek Falls is a second waterfall on Mossy Creek, located about 0.7 mile downstream from Mossy Creek Falls and the historic Callus Mill site. It drops over a similar series of stairstepping ledges, about 18 feet in total. Like Mossy Creek Falls, it is completely surrounded by private land and inaccessible to the public by foot. Unfortunately, this waterfall lies outside of the Mossy Creek Park property found farther downstream at the Chattahoochee River confluence.
