Lula Falls is among the most spectacular waterfalls in Georgia, tumbling 100 feet in free-falling fashion within a magnificent rock amphitheater. Lula Falls lies on Rock Creek, which cuts a deep gorge through Lookout Mountain before emptying into Chattanooga Valley. Visitors access the waterfall via a 2-mile hike on the Old Railroad Grade Trail. Near the end, the Old Lula Falls Trail makes a steep, rocky descent to the falls, whereas the New Lula Falls Trail affords a more gradual route to the base. Please note: Lula Lake Land Trust is only open to the public on the first and last weekends of every month, and visitors must make reservations in advance to access the preserve. Click here to visit the land trust website to reserve a parking spot.
