Located along Highway 197 between Clarkesville and Lake Burton, Mark of the Potter is a waterside craft shop located in a former grist mill building along the Soquee River. The shop stands right alongside a set of powerful rapids along the Soquee River, often considered a small waterfall due to its 15-foot drop. The craft shop allows curious travelers to park and view the waterfall. Be sure to check out the pottery displays in the shop while there. Locals have sometimes called this spot "Soquee Falls," not to be confused with the much larger Soquee River Falls located well upstream in the Tray Mountain Wilderness.
