Located among imposing cliffs, Martha's Falls is a 40-foot waterfall found in the upper reaches of Pigeon Roost Creek. One of the early pioneers of Georgia waterfall documentation, Jack Anthony, named the falls in honor of his friend Martha Singleton, who stumbled upon the waterfall while looking for skinny dipping spots. The waterfall is accessed by a steep bushwhack from the Dockery Lake Trail. The scramble route along the creek passes a set of lower cascades and small waterfalls before reaching the main drop.
