A tributary of the upper Chattahoochee River, Martin Branch is home to a picturesque 20-foot waterfall located near Martin Branch Road (FR 178). The waterfall is somewhat hidden by rhododendron and cannot be seen directly from the road, but it can be accessed with a quick downhill scramble down to the stream. In recent years, Martin Branch Road has become gated more often throughout the year and appears mainly open during select periods within hunting season.
