Georgia's Trusted Local Source for Waterfall Explorations Since 2018

Middle Davis Creek Falls

Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Area

White County
Helen, GA

GPS Location:

34.70302, -83.79250

Waterfall Height:

40 feet

A 40-foot sliding-type waterfall, Middle Davis Creek Falls lies on Davis Creek just above the giant 200-foot tumble of Dukes Creek Falls. Despite its proximity to Dukes Creek Falls, Middle Davis Creek Falls is usually accessed from the opposite side of the creek via an easy but unmarked 0.15-mile trail from FR 244 (White Oak Gap Road). The shallow wading pool at the base of the falls is perfect for families, and an attractive primitive campsite lies nearby. Be sure to stay away from the dangerous brink of Dukes Creek Falls, which lies a short distance downstream.
