Mill Creek Falls is a spectacular 50-foot waterfall sliding steeply down a broad rock face into a deep, circular pool. It's the third, and largest, from a series of five waterfalls located along Mill Creek in a tight gorge below Hickey Gap Campground, off Mill Creek Road. To reach this waterfall, follow an unmarked scramble path downstream from the campground for about 0.6 mile, passing Upper Mill Creek Falls along the way. The trail's final segment is a steep downward rock scramble alongside the falls, requiring use of both hands and feet. Mill Creek Falls is also known as Hickey Gap Falls because of its proximity to the namesake campground.
