One of the most picturesque waterfalls in northeast Georgia, Minnehaha Falls brightens the pages of many tourist brochures and is beloved by all. Located in the popular vacation area of Lake Rabun, Minnehaha Falls is known for its extraordinarily easy access, perfect for families and elderly folks. At 80 feet high, this is a significant stairstepping waterfall. The waterfall trickles over countless stairstepping ledges that form an incredibly photogenic setting. The access to Minnehaha Falls is a gentle uphill 0.2-mile hike along the Minnehaha Falls Trail from Bear Gap Road.
