Moonshine Falls is a towering 70-foot waterfall on a tributary of the Jacks River, located on the same stream as Bigfoot Falls but farther upstream. Although the waterfall is partly covered by several fallen trees from the 2016 wildfire, the view has slowly been improving during the last few years. Accessing Moonshine Falls requires a lengthy off-trail bushwhack. The preferred approach is from the Horseshoe Bend parking area along FR 51 (East Cowpen Rd).
