Mossy Creek is a major tributary of the Chattahoochee River between Clermont and Cornelia. At the historic site of the Callus Mill, the creek forms Mossy Creek Falls, a gorgeous series of stairstepping cascades and small waterfalls. All told, this waterfall drops a total of about 25 feet and is 100 feet wide. Mossy Creek Falls is surrounded by private land and private homes. Any foot approach is strictly off-limits to the public. Whitewater kayakers may be able to catch views of the falls by running Mossy Creek from Hwy 254 to the Chattahoochee.
